Can I get a free sample of Pingo diapers?
One single free sample is not sufficient to test our diapers extensively. In order for you to convince yourself of the quality of Pingo diapers, we offer one test pack per customer for the special price of 20 CHF. One pack contains at least 32 diapers, depending on size and a bag of wet wipes. Delivery is free of charge! Every customer may order one pack.
Do you have a special offer for twins/triplets?
For the parents of twins or triplets, we offer the Pingo 30-diaper subscription. With each delivery, you will receive 6 packs of diapers, that is 30 packs in 5 deliveries! The price is more advantageous than regularly ordering individual packs.
Do you have a quality assurance system for Pingo diapers?
Yes, the diapers are randomly tested in our laboratory. Samples are retained from each batch. If unexpected problems occur, please contact us. Please let us know the product number (e.g. HW3/19/331/08:00), which can be found on each pack and on each diaper, so that we can check our retained samples in the laboratory.
What are your offers for day-care centers/kindergartens?
We do offer quantity discounts for day-care centers and kindergartens requiring larger quantities.
Where are the Pingo diapers produced and where does the raw material originate from?
Pingo diapers have been manufactured in the Canton of Bern for more than 30 years. Most raw materials come from Europe.
Is only the diaper core made from cellulose?
Yes, and only ‘FSC® mix’-certified cellulose is used for our Pingo diapers. This ‘FSC® mix’ certification makes sure that the cellulose used comes from sustainably managed forests to preserve the planet’s resources.

Are the Pingo diapers biodegradable and to which extent?
Depending on their size, Pingo diapers contain between 36–39% biodegradable materials. The philosophy of Pingo is to protect our resources and environment primarily by reducing the weight of the diapers. A diaper will always contain petrol-based materials. We do not believe that the customer will divide the diapers into their individual components before throwing them away. Thanks to the use of totally chlorine-free cellulose (FSC®-certified), the use of green electricity and the compensation of the CO2 footprint of the product to make it carbon neutral, we think that we contribute to the protection of the environment.
Is the outside part of the diaper made from plastic?
Yes, the outer skin is a composite of breathable GREEN-PE film and textile fleece.
Are Pingo diapers bleached with chlorine?
No, the cellulose is TCF (totally chlorine free) in contrast to many other products which are only ECF (elementary chlorine free) and use chlorine dioxide to bleach the cellulose.
Do Pingo diapers contain dyes, solvents or perfume?
No, Pingo diapers contain no dyes, no solvents, and no perfume.
Do Pingo diapers contain paraffin?
No, Pingo diapers do not contain paraffin.
Are animal experiments carried out or commissioned for the production of the Pingo diapers?
No animal experiments are carried out or commissioned for the production of the pingo diapers and for the raw materials used.
What material is the packaging film made of?
The packaging film is made of GREEN-PE and are thus more than 85% from renewable resources.
What are the criteria for the manufacture of Pingo wipes?
The wet wipes are an eco-friendly product made in accordance with the Pingo philosophy: they do not contain any perfume, parabens, dyes or PEG emulsifiers. The product is also PEFC-certified. It is produced outside of Switzerland.
What is the composition of the Pingo wet wipes?
Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Coco-Glucoside, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Chamomilla, Recutita Flower Extract, Glycerine, Dipropylene Glycol, Lactic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Levulinic Acid, Sodium Levulinate, Sodium Hydroxide. The packaging is made from 40% recycled plastic.
